Platform as a Service (PaaS)

IT intensive companies typically allocate 75-80 % of the IT budget to maintaining the infrastructure, including managing applications in server production, test and development environments. Maintaining the infrastructure incl. O/S and various development and test suites is costly.

Furthermore, the process of expanding the infrastructure typically spans weeks, as a server must be procured, proper images installed, tested and the network configured accordingly. Subject to personnel availability and automatisation degree, this process run-through time can vary significantly.

Motives
The clients motives for moving this part of the infrastructure to a Platform as a Service are mainly to ensure much greater provisioning flexibility, much faster provisioning time and over time a lower TCO and less dependency on maintenance personnel.

Offerings
Our offerings range from transitioning environments into the Cloud, establishing useful controls and KPIs, to maintaining and improving the environments.
